Journal Prep has recently teamed up with Addleton Academic Publishers (AAP), current publisher of seven international academic journals covering a wide array of subject matter. AAP is already promoting Journal Prep’s services across all seven of its published journals’ websites.
“Teaming up with another young company provides benefits to both groups, and we believe this is yet another step in the right direction” stated Shawn Maloney, President of Journal Prep. Journal Prep continues to actively search out new partners in the academic community, with the goal of becoming the number one provider of publishing services and resources for academics around the world.
Cofounded by Cornwall, Ontario brothers Shawn and Kyle Maloney in November 2010, Journal Prep has since grown into one of the largest English editing services out there, working with more than 35 editors and 400 peer reviewers.
Journal Prep’s services are currently recommended by a number of high impact journals. In addition to its English editing services, Journal Prep also offers a wide range of academic support tools, including peer review services and free, valuable online content such as its highly popular 101 tips page. “How to Write and Publish an Academic Research Paper” includes 101 tips to help researchers produce publication-ready work. These 101 tips have been reproduced and disseminated to students and researchers by many universities, including Stanford University and McGill University.
In just its first year of business, the company has already worked with academics in more than 20 countries. “With much success in our first year, we are focused on continued growth as well as developing a greater international presence” says Kyle Maloney, VP of Marketing at Journal Prep. Journal Prep is currently working to expand its business presence in China and Brazil.
