Journal Prep partnership with Fatodoc expands presence in Brazil as the two companies work together to deliver valuable information and services to thousands of Brazilian physicians and scientists.
Montreal, QC July 11, 2012 – Journal Prep has recently joined forces with Fatodoc, a Brazilian company endorsed by the Brazilian Medical Association that connects patients with board certified doctors. Fatodoc’s search engine allows patients to find doctors for everything from routine consultations to management and treatment of serious diseases. Patients can then compare these physicians based on medical training and other objective criteria.
“Fatodoc and Journal Prep will now be working together to bring valuable services and information to thousands of physicians throughout Brazil,” announced Journal Prep President, Shawn Maloney, PhD, a recent graduate of McGill University.
Montreal-based Journal Prep currently works with over 50 language editors and 400 PhD peer reviewers in diverse academic fields of study and is quickly becoming an online hub for academic publication support.
Working with academics in over 30 countries, Journal Prep is recommended by a number of high impact journals and the company’s free resources have been disseminated to researchers and graduate students at a number of universities, including Stanford and McGill.
“Journal Prep will now be providing academic support and English editing services to Fatodoc’s growing community of physicians based in Brazil, who collectively publish thousands of research papers in the biological and medical sciences each year,” explained Maloney. “This new partnership is a step forward in our effort to expand our international business presence and work directly with some of Brazil’s best research teams to accelerate publication of important scientific and medical findings.”
