Dr. Julian Gray will be delivering a world-class, online lecture on the topic of drug discovery on March 24 at 1pm Eastern Time. The first part of this lecture, which will be delivered as a live web broadcast, will show the key processes in discovering new medicines, including screening, optimizing leads and selecting development candidates. In the second half of the talk, the key steps in bringing the agent into clinical trials during the different phases of development and through registration to market approval will be shown, including key non-clinical safety, manufacturing, regulatory and clinical issues. In short, this will be a unique, high intensity primer on drug discovery and development, assuming limited knowledge at the start of the lecture.
